Ensemble, a Los Angeles, CA-based provider of an expense tracking app for co-parents, raised $3m in seed funding.
Backers included TTV Capital, Lerer Hippeau, and Citi Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to publicly launch and expand the app’s capabilities.
Led by Jacklyn Rome, CEO and founder, Ensemble provides an expense tracking app for divorced parents to avoid ongoing emotional conversations around shared finances for their children, ranging from splitting one-off expenses to saving for college tuition, streamlining all these talks, The app allows them to enter expenses, see who owes who, view spending reports and export their data if needed for court purposes.
The company was founded while Jacklyn was an Entrepreneur in Residence at Co-Created, a venture studio based in New York, with support and funding from Citi Ventures’ D10X program.
