Bone Health Technologies, a San Francisco, CA-based developer of technologies for improving bone health, closed a $2.5m funding round.
The round was led by Good Growth Capital with participation from Astia Angels, Ambit Health Ventures, Portfolia Femtech Fund, IT-Farm, Golden Seeds, Berkeley Angel Network, the Band of Angels, Reno Seed Fund as well as individual angel investors.
The company also appointed three board members: Karen Drexler, MBA, Nancy Lynch, MD, MBA and Sam Goldberger, MD, MBA.
Led by Laura Yecies, CEO, Bone Health Technologies applies science and medical expertise to create tratments for women and men at risk of developing osteoporosis and the associated bone fractures.
