CloudWalk, a São Paulo, Brazil-based payment technology network, raised US$190m in Series B funding.
The round, which brings total capital raised to date to US$206m, was led by Coatue, with participation from DST Global and existing investors such as FIS, The Hive Brazil and Valor Capital. As part of this financing round, Michael Gilroy, General Partner at Coatue, joined CloudWalk’s Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to further drive scale and accelerate its domestic presence in Brazil.
Led by Luis Silva, Founder & CEO, CloudWalk is a global payment network providing four products – InfinitePay, Payment Link, Confere, and Digital Wallet – and serving ~70,000 merchants in Brazil across over 3,300 cities and towns, reaching over 4.6 million consumers.
