CognitOps, an Austin, Texas-based global provider of artificial intelligence-based warehouse operating applications, raised US$11m in Series A funding.
The round was led by FirstMark Capital with participation from Chicago Ventures, Schematic Ventures, Haystack, and CEAS Investments. In conjunction with the funding, Beth Ferreira, Partner at FirstMark, will join the CognitOps Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand internationally, increase sales capacity, and expand product development.
Led by Alex Ramirez, Co-founder and CEO, and Reas Macken, Co-founder and Chief Product Officer, CognitOps provides a platform that allows supply chain leaders to make decisions to manage complexity, reduce cost, and improve cycle time without the need to upgrade or replace their existing investments.
The company also has a software development center in Kyiv, Ukraine.
