LucidLink, a San Francisco, CA-based cloud file technology company, raised $12m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Headline, with participation from Adobe, Baseline Ventures and Bright Cap Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Conrad Chu, Partner, from Headline will join LucidLink’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth.
Led by Peter Thompson, CEO and co-founder, LucidLink offers a cloud-native file service designed specifically for extensive data access over distance. LucidLink Filespaces provides security and high-performance scalability to run file-based workloads on object storage for maximum efficiency and productivity. The service is compatible with Azure Blob and any S3 compatible object storage provider that utilizes the cloud, on-prem, or hybrid storage. It supports all major operating systems, including Linux, Windows, and macOS.
The company also has offices in Bulgaria, Europe, and Australia.
