Passport, a Charlotte NC-based transportation software and payments company, secured $90m in funding.
The round was led by Sixth Street Growth.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and to further improve the digital platform infrastructure.
Led by David Evans, CEO, Passport enables cities to replace capital-intensive physical installations with mobile technology solutions. More than 1000 municipalities in North America including Chicago, Toronto, Los Angeles, and Miami. use the company’s digital platform as for managing mobile pay parking, parking enforcement, digital permitting and micro-mobility.
