Atos, a CAC40 Paris listed global leader in digital transformation, completed the acquisition of Ipsotek, a London, UK-based AI enhanced video analytics software provider.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Ipsotek is a pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence powered video analytics solutions for mission critical applications. Its VISuite AI platform enables users to manage automatically generated alerts in real-time for deployments across a range of use cases including crowd management, face recognition, intrusion detection, perimeter protection, number plate recognition and traffic management. The company’s patented configurable solutions make video searchable, actionable and quantifiable, providing operational insights and resulting in reduced operator response times and the ability to define behaviors as they unfold in real-time in the most dynamic and complex environments.
This acquisition enables Atos to strategically reinforce its position in Edge AI and Computer Vision by adding key software capabilities and IP to its solutions portfolio to provide an enhanced offering to clients across a variety of sectors. Atos is already a major player in Edge AI/ML, more specifically with its Edge solutions from infrastructure to AI/ML professional services.
