Commit, a Vancouver, BC-based professional network for developers building early-stage software, raised $6m in seed funding.
Backers were Canadian technical founders.
The company intends to use the funds to grow the number of Engineers on the platform in the next 12 months, and continue to build and invest in the programs that reach and support the best talent in this space.
Founded in 2019 by Beier Cai (CTO) and Greg Gunn (CEO), Commit provides a professional network designed to support developers who are passionate about building early-stage software, but who have been constrained by geography. The platform provides real-time peer to peer support, career development resources including mentorship and coaching, and full-stack career transition services.
The company already boasts a roster of 50+ high-profile startups that want to work with Commit Engineers.
