Guild Education, a Denver, CO-based company that connects employees with employer-sponsored learning opportunities, raised $150m in a Series E funding round.
Backers in the round, which valued the company at $3.7 billion, included Bessemer Venture Partners, General Catalyst, Salesforce Ventures, and GSV.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by Rachel Carlson, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Guild Education works with Fortune 1000 employers to provide education & upskilling programs through a technology platform, payments system and learning marketplace. The company has nearly 800 employees and a customer base including companies such as The Walt Disney Company, Walmart, Discover, Chipotle and Lowe’s.
