Mynd, an Oakland, Calif.-based platform that enables anyone to buy, manage or sell Single Family Rental (SFR) properties across the United States, raised $40m in financing.
The round was led Invesco Real Estate, a global real estate investment manager.
The company intends to use the funds to:
- accelerate the development of its technology platform for real estate investment and management,
- scale all aspects of business operations, and
- expand the capabilities of its acquisitions and renovations arm.
Led by Doug Brien, CEO and co-founder, Mynd provides a tech-enabled platform for finding, purchasing and managing rental properties. The company currently has more than 7,000 homes under management in 25 markets.
