Versa Networks, a San Jose, Calif. – based provider of a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) platform that connects Enterprise branches, teleworkers, and end users to applications in the cloud or data centers around the world, raised $84m in Series D funding.
The round, which brought the total amount raised in funding to date to $196m, was co-led by investors Princeville Capital and RPS Ventures, with participation from existing investors, including Sequoia Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to introduce new go-to-market strategies, launch new sales and partner enablement initiatives, and expand into new markets.
