Prodigal, a Mountain View, Calif.-based intelligence layer for loan servicing and collection operations, raised $12M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Menlo Ventures with participation from existing investors Accel, Y Combinator, and MGV, as well as Eric Sage (COO Plaid), Anand Joshi (ex American Express), and Nicholas Hinrichsen (CEO Carlypso).
The company intends to use the funds to expand its suite of products and the team.
Led by Shantanu Gangal, CEO & Co-Founder, Prodigal provides intelligent workflow and optimization products that enable clients to gain insight into key customer interactions and to offload repetitive tasks from agents to AI solutions. The company’s decision engine allows clients to maximize recovery rates, optimize operations, and minimize compliance risks, while coaching agents on improving customer communication.
Dozens of customers, including Fundbox and Sequium, currently use the platform.
