Spectro Cloud, a Santa Clara CA-based Kubernetes enterprise management platform, raised $20M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Stripes with participation from T-Mobile Ventures and Alter Venture Partners and existing investors Sierra Ventures, boldstart ventures, WestWave Capital and Firebolt Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the continued expansion of its direct and partner sales and support channels both in the U.S. and internationally, add engineering talent to improve its product and services for customers.
Led by Tenry Fu, CEO, Spectro Clouds provides a platform that allows teams to manage the full lifecycle of any combination of new and existing Kubernetes environments on any data center or cloud environment. The platform harnesses both open-source and extensions to make Kubernetes accessible and manageable. Spectro Cloud gives IT teams to complete visibility, control and production-scale efficiencies to deliver curated, IT-administered or self-service Kubernetes stacks and tools to developers based on their specific needs while maintaining granular governance, access control and security the business requires. Its approach harnesses the power and scale of open source technologies such as Cloud Native Computing Foundation’s Cluster API, which is extended and incorporated within Spectro Cloud’s platform, to directly address enterprise requirements at scale.
