Bodo.ai, a San Francisco CA-based extreme-performance parallel compute platform, for data workloads raised $14M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Dell Technologies Capital, with participation from Uncorrelated Ventures, Fusion Fund and Candou Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth, expand operations and its business reach.
Led by Behzad Nasre, CEO, and and Ehsan Totoni, CTO, Bodo.ai leverages automatic parallelization and inferential compiler to provide a data analytics platform which scales past 10,000 cores and petabytes of data. Validated at 10,000+ cores and petabytes of data, Bodo eliminates the need to use new libraries or APIs or rewrite Python into Scala, C++, Java, or GPU code to achieve scalability and enable users to achieve a new level of performance and economic efficiency for large-scale ETL, Data Prep, Feature Engineering, and AI/ML Model training.
The company, which also has offices in Pittsburgh, PA, serves F500 customers enabling them to solve massive data analysis problems.
