Breef, a New York City and Aspen, Colorado-based online platform for ad agencies, raised $3.5m in funding.
The round was led by Greycroft with participation from Rackhouse Ventures, The House Fund, Lance Armstrong and 640 Oxford Ventures.
The company, which has now raised $4.5m in total funding, intends to use the capital to continue to grow its global community and product offering, formally launching its project funding service — Breef(pay) — to help simplify payments to agencies.
Co-founded by George Raptis and Emily Bibb, Breed is an agency marketplace that connects brands with agencies for their digital and creative needs. Its proprietary platform allows brands to manage and service all agency projects, pitches and payments, facilitating efficiencies within the distributed workforce. The platform hosts more than 5,000 vetted agencies and is used by hundreds of brands, transacting millions of dollars in projects each month.
