Chasm Advanced Materials, Inc., a Canton, MA-based inventor of nanotube hybrids – a new category of advanced materials, closed a $15m Series C financing.
The round was led by Wave Equity Partners, joined by Birla Carbon, as well as SWM International (NYSE: SWM).
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate commercial penetration of its AgeNT™ products for transparent printed electronics, NTeC™ products for energy storage and a broad range of composites applications, and to launch CHASM-H2O™ – a new category of membranes targeted at disrupting water treatment to address the world’s water scarcity problem.
Led by David Arthur, Chief Executive Officer, Chasm Advanced Materials is the inventor and manufacturer of nanotube hybrids – a new class of advanced material used by global manufacturers of commercial and industrial products to improve device technology, transportation, infrastructure, healthcare, and natural resources. Companies across multiple industries have been first to market with their future products using AgeNT™ for transparent flexible printed electronics, NTeC™ for battery, coating, or performance additives, and Signis™ for touch buttons and sensor with superior environmental stability.
