Fabric RQ, a Denver, CO-based startup providing institutional quality risk management software to individual investors through their financial advisors, closed a seed funding round of undisclosed amount.
The round was led by Pandeavor Ventures, Vikram S. Panditās family office, and John P. Arnhold, managing member of Arnhold LLC. As part of the investment, Rahul Pandit will join Fabricās board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds for the commercial deployment of its risk management software which has been under development for more than a year.
Founded by veteran risk manager Richard Bookstaber, Fabric RQ provides institutional-quality risk management technology to individual investors through their financial advisors. Fabric employs agent-based risk models powered by MSCI’s factor framework to map out forward-looking risk and facilitate differentiated risk conversations that build trust and confidence for the advisorās clients and prospects.
