ForeVR Games, a Los Angeles, CA – based VR gaming company, raised $7M in additional seed financing.
This round, which brought the company’s total raise to $8.5M, was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Galaxy Interactive, All Star Capital, Mark Pincus and Emmett Shear.
The company plans to use the new funding to build out the team, develop new games, expand to additional platforms and continue to upgrade the recently-released ForeVR Bowl.
Led by industry vets Marcus Segal and Mike Pagano Doom, ForeVR Games is a gaming company dedicated to developing IRL games into virtual reality gaming experiences.
Its ForeVR Bowl – launched in May on Oculus – takes players into a world of bowling, from themed lanes and jamming soundtracks to collectible balls and next gen avatars.
