Jane Technologies, Inc., a Santa Cruz, Calif.-based cannabis industry’s e-commerce marketplace, closed a $100m Series C round of funding.
The round, which brought the total amount of capital raised to roughly $130m, was led by Honor Ventures with participation from Third Point Ventures, Gotham Green Partners, L2 Ventures, Delta Emerald Ventures and Artemis Growth Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its digital presence, grow its team across multiple areas of operations, further enhance existing software solutions and introduce new technologies.
Led by Socrates Rosenfeld, CEO, Jane is a cannabis industry’s automated e-commerce solution, powering 2,100+ dispensaries and brands across 36 U.S. state markets as well as the Canadian market. The company’s offering provides dispensaries and brands with an e-commerce solution, including real-time POS integration, curated content directly from the brands (the best pictures, descriptions, etc.), and retail and market analytics.
Multi-state operators and brands using Jane include Green Thumb Industries, Columbia Care, Jushi Holdings Inc., Cresco, Kiva, Lowell Herb Co., Papa & Barkley and WYLD.
