Superhuman, a San Francisco, CA-based subscription email service, raised $75m in Series C funding.
The round, which brings Superhuman’s total funding to $126M, was led by IVP with participation from Tiger Global and strategic investors including Drew Houston (CEO of Dropbox), Timothy Young (President of Dropbox), Jason Citron (CEO of Discord), Arianna Huffington (CEO of Thrive), Ashton Kutcher, Will Smith, and the Chainsmokers. Ajay Vashee, General Partner at IVP, is joining Superhuman’s Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the fudns to continue to expand operations and its development efforts, as well as its business reach, starting with the hundreds of millions of people who use Outlook and Android.
Led by Rahul Vohra, Founder & CEO, Superhuman provides an email client featuring advanced tools such A.I. Triage, Undo Send, Insights from social networks, Follow-up Reminders, Scheduled Messages, and Read Statuses. To date, customers have sent over 100 million messages, triaged over 335 million conversations, and used over 1 billion keyboard shortcuts.
The company is now investing in writing assistance, to correct errors as people type and help users type fast, and in task management, so they can assign or delegate email. Superhuman plans to build new integrations with tools like Grammarly, Hubspot, and Salesforce.
