Almanac, a San Francisco, CA-based operating system for remote work, closed a $34m Series A financing round.

The round was led by Tiger Global, which is joined by Floodgate Fund, General Catalyst, and 50 technology operators, including Joshua Reeves, Ryan Caldbeck, Alex MacCaw, Zack Kanter, Jack Altman, Leore Avidar, and Dennis Crowley.

The company intends to use the funds to continmue to expand operations and its business growth and developement efforts.

Led by Adam Nathan, Chief Executive Officer, Almanac is an operating system for remote work that combines document editing, version control that keeps teams organized, and asynchronous workflows that make remote collaboration focused and productive. It enables organizations to ask for approvals, collect feedback and revisions, and get transparent analytics without needless meetings or messages. Founded in 2019, Almanac is fully distributed, with employees based all over the world.

Customers include remote companies like IRL and Remote.
