Borneo Raises $18M in Series A Funding

-

Borneo, a Singapore-based real-time data security and privacy observability platform, raised $18M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Vulcan Capital and Prosus Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to continue investing in its technology platform and customer demand.

Led by Chris Roberson (CPO) and Prithvi Rai (CEO & Founder), Borneo is a privacy information and data management platform offering security and privacy solutions for technology companies through real-time privacy data observability and insights. Its developer-first suite of tools enables users to identify high-risk and sensitive personally identifiable information (PII) through machine learning techniques and open API’s. The company’s approach integrates with existing tools and workflows. This allows security practitioners to utilize non-blocking workflows and fast-track remediation without hampering business teams operating in moving and growth environments.

Borneo is already working at cloud scale at some of the fastest growing technology companies.
