Clockwork Logistics Systems Raises $5.5M in Seed Funding

Clockwork Logistics Systems, a Newark NJ-based Proof of Delivery (POD) data logistics platform, raised $5.5M in Seed funding.

The round was led by Newtown Partners with participation from Newark Venture Partners, PSA UnboXed, Vineta Ventures and Estes Final Mile.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.

Led by Rob Haney, CEO and founder, Clockwork Logistics Systems provides logistics operations into cloud and mobility by automating the tender, dispatch, and delivery processes. The platform extends existing operating systems to truck carriers and truck drivers to capture precise Proof of Delivery (POD) data in the delivery moment. Customers utilize it to digitize a range of complex deliveries including Port Drayage (Haulage), Less than Truck Load (LTL), Expedited Air and Final Mile delivery. 

The company manages 1.2 million shipments annually across multiple geographic regions including N. America, Brazil, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, China, Japan, Korea, Europe, and Africa.
