Kaaja (fka HomesToPeople), an Erba (Como), Italy-based prop tech startup, raised €1.5m in funding.
The round was led by Sensible Capital along with Club degli Investitori.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach nationally through agents and partnerships with agencies.
Co-founded by Dario Cardile, CEO, and Paolo Castelletti, CMO, Kaaja is a proptech startup providing an online platform for real estate auctions among private individuals. Since launch, the company has managed over 20 auctions on buildings in Rome and Milan involving over 100.000 clients who have booked approx. 600 appointments to visit them.
In addition to the funding, the company also appointed Silvia Rovere, founder and CEO of Sensible Capital and President of Confindustria Assoimmobiliare, as Chairman of the Board, which also includes Investment Banker Paola Bruno, and digital industry veteran Maria Teresa Rangheri.
