Schüttflix, a German constructiontech startup, raised USD50m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Draper Esprit, with partcipation from the founding team surrounding co-founding investor Thomas Hagedorn and CEO Christian Hülsewig, as well as HV Capital, Speedinvest and STRABAG.

The company intends to use the funds to enter the Austrian, Polish and Czech markets in 2022 and continue developing digital products and services for all aspects of construction-site supply and waste disposal.

Led by Christian Hülsewig, CEO and co-founder, Schüttflix is a logistics hub for the construction bulk-materials industry that works digitally and supplies sand, gravel and grit on the spot. The app connects suppliers and carriers directly with customers from the road construction, civil engineering, gardening and landscaping sectors.

The team is currently laying the technical, organisational and personnel-related foundations to enable its partners and customers in the new markets to access the platform. To develop the business in the new markets, Schüttflix will use the regional expertise of experienced country managers. In addition to business development, these managers will mainly focus on setting up country-specific customer service operations.
