Cibo Technologies, a Cambridge, Mass.- and Minneapolis, MI-based science-based technology company that supports growers and enterprises to apply regenerative agriculture, raised $30m in Series C financing.
The backers were not disclosed.
The company will use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Founded by Flagship Pioneering in 2015, Cibo applies advanced technologies to deliver a deep understanding of agricultural systems to help mitigate climate change, advance food system resilience and improve grower outcomes through driving the adoption of sustainable practices. Led by Daniel Ryan, chief executive officer, the company connects food and agricultural enterprises to growers in their value chain, and connects growers to incentives that drive regenerative agriculture practices.
