Groove, a San Francisco, CA-based sales engagement platform for enterprises using Salesforce, raised $45m in Series B funding.
The round was led by Viking Global Investors with participation from existing investors Capital One Ventures, Level Equity, Quest Venture Partners, and Uncork Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its international operations.
Led by Chris Rothstein, co-founder and CEO, Groove is a sales engagement platform for enterprises using Salesforce to enable revenue teams to rely on accurate reporting and forecasting, lowered compliance risk, and streamlined administration. Over the last year, the company has expanded its revenue intelligence capabilities with auto-contact capture, real-time opportunity and pipeline management and enhanced ROI reporting.
The platform integrates into existing seller workflows. Customers include Activision, iHeartMedia, LexisNexis, New Relic, TIBCO, Veeva, and Wintrust.
