Aloft, a Seattle WA-based home valuation company, raised $20M in Series A funding.
The round, which brought total funds raised to date to $25m, was led by Fifth Wall with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, as well as Spencer Rascoff, founder of and general partner at 75 & Sunny, co-founder of Pacaso and co-founder of Zillow, MetaProp, a venture capital firm focused on the PropTech industry, Chase Gilbert, CEO of Built, Gokul Rajaram, DoorDash executive and board member of Coinbase and Pinterest.
Led by Travis Soukup, CEO, Aloft provides home valuation technology that combines deep industry experience, data and standardized methodology to generate accurate appraisal reports. It brings appraisers together to collaborate and leverage technology which standardizes data capture, report writing, and real-time communication.
The company, currently operating in the Seattle and Portland metro areas, will use the funds to expand its US operations, invest in its proprietary workflow technology and expand its workforce of appraisers and technology engineers.
