Aqua Security, a Boston, MA-based pure-play cloud native security provider, received a strategic investment from Capital One Ventures.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
In conjunction with the deal, rhe company appointed Capital One Chief Information Security Officer Chris Betz to Aqua’s Executive Advisory Board.
Led by Dror Davidoff, CEO, Aqua provides a cloud native security solution provider for financial services providers. The platform provides prevention, detection, and response automation across the entire application life cycle to secure the build, secure cloud infrastructure, and secure running workloads, wherever they are deployed. Customers are among the world’s largest enterprises in financial services, software, media, manufacturing, and retail, with implementations across a broad range of cloud providers and modern technology stacks spanning containers, serverless functions, and cloud VMs.
Preparing for its next phase of growth, the company bolstered its executive leadership with four new c-suite appointments in recent months, including:
- Limor Schwartz as Chief Financial Officer,
- Christopher Smith as Chief Revenue Officer,
- Sharon Eilon as Chief Customer Officer, and
- Matt Richards as Chief Marketing Officer.
