Cloudbeds, a San Diego CA-based hospitality technology company, raised $150M in Series D funding.

The round, which brought total venture funding to $253m, was led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2, joined by Echo Street, Walleye Capital with participation from Viking Global Investors, PeakSpan Capital and Counterpart Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to grow its team, accelerate customer acquisition, expand its product offerings, and invest in delivering technology to the industry.

Led by Adam Harris, CEO, and Richard Castle, COO, Cloudbeds provides a cloud-based hospitality management software. The platform combines tools for operations, revenue management, guest experience, and marketing with a marketplace of third-party integrations to help independent hoteliers and hosts grow revenue, streamline operations and enable memorable guest experiences.

The company serves customers of 22,000+ independent properties across 157 countries.
