Guardians Collective Raises $3.5M in Seed Funding

-

Guardians Collective, a San Francisco, CA-based early childhood education (ECE) platform to connect families and educators, raised $3.5m in seed funding.

The round was led by Reach Capital with participation from Impact America Fund, Gary Community Ventures, and others.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.

Founded in 2020 and led by Saurabh Kamalapurkar, CEO, Guardians Collective is a messaging platform that connects parents of children ages 12 months to 4 years-old with early childhood educators to find information, help, and advice in a safe, anonymous setting. Families are organized in Circles of 4-6 participants based on location and child’s age, and each Circle is assigned an Educator, who creates research-based, developmentally appropriate activities for families to try and share within their small groups.

The service is currently available in English, Arabic, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish, and serves families across the U.S., including Detroit, New Orleans, Alaska, the Navajo Nation, Oklahoma, and California’s Central Valley.
