Lokalise, a Riga, Latvia-based continuous localization platform, today raised $50m in Series B funding.
The round was led by CRV with participation from Creandum, Dawn Capital, existing investors including Chalfen Ventures, 3VC, S16VC, and a number of angel investors. In conjunction with the funding, Reid Christian, General Partner at CRV, will also join the board.
The company intends to use the funds to further accelerate hiring, product development, and the construction of its partnership ecosystem.
Led by Nick Ustinov, Co-Founder and CEO, Lokalise is a continuous localization platform that streamlines the translation and localization process and collaboration between developers, designers, translators, and project managers. APIs, SDKs, and plug-and-play connectors automate data input from prototyping platforms to production. Lokalise is a fully remote company founded in 2017 that has 2,500 customers from 80 countries, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, including BASF, Revolut, Monday.com, and Arduino.
