Surglogs, a San Diego CA-based healthcare technology startup, raised $10.5M in Series A funding.
The round was led by OpenOcean with participation from Credo Ventures and 8VC.
The company intends to use the funds to strengthen the executive team with new leadership hires in sales and product development, expand its flagship Surgical Logs module and actively pursue growth in additional health care markets, such as skilled nursing and long-term care facilities and dialysis centers.
Led by Peter Zajac, Dominik Metes, Jakub Jasak, and plastic surgeon Dr. John Hilinski, Surglogs provides a digital platform that replaces regulatory compliance paperwork, and automates clinical workflows, enabling health care professionals to spend more time caring for patients.
The company has already expanded to serve hundreds of health care facilities in all 50 states and has built partnerships with the largest ambulatory surgery centers (ASC) and health systems in the U.S., including United Surgical Partners International and UCHealth.
