kenbi, a Berlin, Germany-based tech-enabled healthcare-at-home startup, raised €23.5M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Healthtech Growth Fund Endeavour Vision with participation from existing investors Redalpine, Heartcore, Headline, Partech and Amino Collective, new backers Mutschler Ventures and lender Silicon Valley Bank.
The company intends to use the funds to further expand its care services across more states in Germany and for major product innovations.
Co-founded by Katrin Alberding, Bruno Pires and Clemens Raemy, kenbi provides professional healthcare services and products at home, through a large, decentralized network of mobile caregivers. These are coordinated through the company’s own modular technology and app stack, liberating resources and empowering agile teams.
In less than 2 years, the company has scaled to 22 care hubs. Its professional care-teams serve today over 1200 care patients and 500 advisory clients across three German states, amounting to more than 15,000 visits and personal touch points per month.
