Nous Raises $9M in Seed Financing

-

Nous, a London, UK-based fintech startup for households to get smart as they face the rising cost of living, raised $9M in Seed funding.

The round was led by Mosaic Ventures with participation from Tom Blomfield, Marc Warner, Dan Hegarty, Eamon Jubbawy, Brent Hoberman, Andy Phillipps and John Gibson.

The company intends to use the funds to scale up the product team and build out its service.

Led by CEO Greg Marsh, Christian Hølmer, CTO, Lydia Howland, Head of Service Development, Glen Walker, COO, and Jon Rudoe, Chief Commercial Officer, Nous is a service that helps households get smart and stay vigilant as they face the rising cost of living. The proprietary tech platform – available on mobile, tablet and desktop at http://nous.co – aggregates first and third party data feeds to power a real time personalised dashboard of a household’s finances along with actionable insights. By monitoring vendor activity, Nous will provide the vigilance to protect consumers from vendors who would otherwise take advantage of their inattention by hiking prices or levying loyalty taxes across energy, insurance, mortgages, broadband and other subscriptions.
