Rewire, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based international financial services platform, raised $25M in funding.
The round was led by Migdal with participation from Glilot Capital Partners, Standard Bank of South Africa, BNP Paribas, Opera Tech Ventures, Viola Fintech, Moneta Capital Partners, Renegade Partners, OurCrowd, Yehuda Zisapel and Jerry Yang.
The company intends to use the funds to develop country-specific offerings exemplified by the platform’s partnership with a pan-Asian insurance insurance company, which enables members to purchase coverage for their family members back home.
Founded by entrepreneurs Guy Kashtan (CEO), Adi Ben Dayan (VP R&D), Saar Yahalom (CTO), and Or Benoz, Rewire is a cross-border financial services platform for migrants worldwide. The company leverages innovative technology and develops strategic partnerships with financial institutions in the migrant’s country of origin and in their new home to provide migrants with remittance and payment accounts, advanced financial services such as bill payments, savings, and mortgage loans.
The company manages several online global communities for its diverse customer base who have migrated to Europe from over 20 countries in Asia and Africa such as the Philippines, Nigeria, India, Thailand, and China.
