Yardstik, a Minneapolis, MN-based platform that makes it easier for gig marketplaces and SaaS platforms to screen, verify, and train their workforces, raised $8M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Grotech Ventures with participation from Great North Ventures, Rally Ventures and Crosslink Capital.

Led by Matt Meents, CEO, Yardstik provides a human security platform that offers modular packages of screening, verification, and training solutions to help marketplaces and platforms hire, onboard, and manage safer workforces.

The company intends to use the funds to support growthā€”from 38 customers in 2020 to 131 customers in 2021ā€”bringing on additional team members, funding continued product development, and evolving their go-to-market strategy.
