AmplifyMD, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a national telemedicine platform, raised $23M in funding.
The round was led by F-Prime Capital, Forerunner Ventures and Greylock.
The company intends to use the funds to expand the network of hospitals, further build out their technology platform, and increase the accessibility of specialty care for patients and health systems.
Founded by accomplished executives Meena Mallipeddi and Anand Nathan, AmplifyMD is a specialty access platform connecting over 3,300 medical institutions with a lack of specialty access – often in rural or small regions of the United States – to a network of specialists. The company provides both the clinical team as well as the software to streamline and automate virtual care delivery and billing workflows and integrates with hospitals’ existing EHRs.
In two years of operation, AmplifyMD has expanded to over 20 hospitals to help deliver higher-quality care to thousands of patients.
