mintBlue, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands- and Antwerp, Belgium-based Blockchain-as-a-service (BaaS) development provider, raised €2M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Two Hop Ventures, with participation from a Dutch angel investor and Ayre Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth and expand operations.
Led by CEO Niels van den Bergh, mintBlue is a blockchain as a service development platform which offers a proprietary API that allows large and small companies to migrate data to the public blockchain, thereby increasing data security, interoperability and traceability. The suite provides data storage directly on the blockchain, and its solutions are non-custodial, which means that end users control their data and have no lock-in issues. The software supports a commercial level scale that allows for monetization opportunities.
The company was recently selected by VISMA | yuki, an European cloud accounting solutions provider, to integrate blockchain-based functionalities into its bookkeeping. mintBlue has already handled over 700,000 NFT invoices for VISMA | yuki at an low cost per invoice, improving efficiency while eliminating vectors for financial malpractice.
