Skyminyr, a San Diego, CA-based human capital intelligence platform company, raised $2.5M in Seed funding.
The round was led by True Search, Caldwell Partners, IQTalent, and Karmel Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the development and rollout of its platform.
Led by CEO Alex Bates, Skyminyr an AI-powered platform designed to deliver human capial intelligence by combining behavioral analytics, sector mapping and relationship intelligence to equip companies to navigate talent shortages and optimize their workforce. Skyminyr has spent three years in development mode with a leading team of data scientists to apply AI driven, predictive alogrythms to massive data sets of Human Capital correlated to organization’s success. The platform provides human capital insights to a company in comparison to its peers. It can serve as an early warning system for looming talent issues based on benchmarking. It also provides access to talent flow, allows companies to predict movements, monitor retention risk and increase employee engagement.
Other founding team members include John Mutch, former CEO of HNC Software and BeyondTrust, Rupert Minnett, whose Ph.D. research focused on deep learning and was also part of the Mtell team acquired by AspenTech.
In addition, Skyminyr has formed an advisory board of executives, including Brendan Castle, SVP and Global Head of Recruiting at Google, Steve Cox, Vice President of Employee Experience at Cisco Systems, Matthew Guss, Executive Search Consultant at Russell Reynolds Associates, Betsy Wouldenberg, former CIA Officer, and Jim Bethmann, a Managing Partner at search firm Caldwell Partners.
