Yuno, a Bogota, Colombia-based online checkout solution provider, raised US$10m in seed funding.
The round was co-led by Monashees, and Kaszek with participation from Nazca, Latitud, OneVC, Opera Ventures, Saurabh Gupta, partner of DST Global, and angel investors including Simon Borrero, Co-founder and CEO of Rappi, Ricardo Weder of Justo, Sujay Tile of Merama, Gerry Giacomán Colyer of Clara, Enrique Villamarin of Tul, and Maria Echeverri of Muni.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach across Latin American companies.
Led by Julián Núñez and Juan Pablo Ortega, Yuno provides an online checkout solution that solves the pain point of managing multiple payment methods, and fraud detection tools, which can be costly and painful to manage.
The company is already working with several large-sized e-commerce companies in Latin America.
