Zygo, a Los Angeles, CA-based underwater audio-streaming company, raised $2.5M in Seed funding.
Backers included two-time Olympic gold medallist, Alistair Brownlee MBE.
The company, which has raised total investment of $5m to date, intends to use the funds for production to meet order demand, as well as further R&D, rolling out new features including metric tracking in their app, multiple sizes, and a charging case with a built-in battery.
Led by Charlie Melvoin, and Sheera Goren, Zygo is an underwater audio-streaming service combining both hardware and software. The patented technology enables underwater streaming audio as well as live coaching while the app provides guided swim content paired to music, ranging from quick sprint sets to triathlon training plans.
