Accenture (NYSE: ACN) acquired Ergo, a Buenos Aires, Argentina-based data-centered business that helps companies create a culture of data-driven decision-making using big data, analytics and artificial intelligence (AI).

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Ergo’s team of 200 data specialists will join the Data & AI team within Accenture Cloud First. The acquisition expands Accenture’s Cloud First capabilities to drive data-led transformations for clients in the Hispanic South American market, spanning Argentina, Chile, and Colombia.
Founded in 2004 and led by Ariel Güelmos, CEO, Ergo brings human-centric design principles to build data solutions that guide business decisions. The company combines technology expertise and customer-focused consulting to integrate data and AI across the enterprise and create a trusted single source of insights.
