Coro, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based cyber security platform for mid-market organizations, growing businesses, and lean IT teams, raised $60m in Series C financing.
The round was led by Balderton Capital, with participation from existing investor Jerusalem Venture Partners.
The company intends to use the funds to hire to triple the team globally, with an emphasis on its Chicago operations.
Led by Guy Moskowitz, CEO, Coro provides a platform to organizations to defend against malware, ransomware, phishing, and bots across devices, users, and cloud applications. The system employs innovative AI technology to identify and remediate the many security threats that today’s distributed businesses face, without IT teams having to worry, investigate, or fix issues themselves.
More than 5,000 businesses currently use it.
