Dassana, a San Jose, CA-based provider of Cloud Log Lake solutions, raised $5M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Dell Technologies Capital with participation from Anand Babu Periasamy, CEO and founder of MinIO, and Jon Oringer, CEO and founder of Shutterstock.
The company intends use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by Gaurav Kumar, CEO Dassana announced the public beta of the JSON-native, schema-less, index-free cloud log lake, which is bringing cloud-like thinking to logs. The company’s Cloud Log Lake separates storage and compute, allowing for cost savings and queries performing faster than competing solutions.
Offered as SaaS, the solution can be deployed in minutes and is fully compatible with existing log forwarders such as Vector and FluentD.
