OpenPhone, a San Francisco, CA–based modern phone system for business, raised $40m in Series B funding.
The round was led by Tiger Global, with participation from existing investors including Craft Ventures, Slow Ventures, Garage Capital, Worklife Ventures, and others.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth, expand its team, and further invest in collaboration features and business tool integrations.
Led by Mahyar Raissi, Co-Founder and CEO, OpenPhone provides businesses with a phone solution that combines essential voice and texting services with new, remote-friendly features like shared phone numbers, giving teams the flexibility to manage calls, text message threads, and contact details together from anywhere. It is available for iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, and web browsers.
With a collaboration-first approach akin to Slack, Figma, and Notion, the company now has over 20,000 customers spanning dozens of industries.
