Digitra.com Raises USD5M in Funding

Digitra.com, a Sao Paulo, Brazil-based crypto exchange built with a focus on technology, compliance, and governance, raised usd5m in funding.

Profitus Fund, owned by Ricardo Villela Marino, the controlling partner of Itaú Bank, made the investment.

The funds will be used to accelerate the operations of Digitra.com, the expansion of other projects such as the development of the Real’s stablecoin developed by company nTokens, the creation of a new stock exchange of startups – already authorized by CVM (Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission) in partnership with SMU investments – and of Atris, a technology company specialized in creating new exchanges of various assets, such as energy, carbon credits, among others.

Founded by Rodrigo Batista, Digitra.com iis a global trading exchange for bitcoins, cryptocurrencies, and digital assets now serving customers in all countries that do not restrict trading in digital currencies.

The company aims to reach 1 million customers in the first year of operation. The application is now available for advance registration to customers worldwide, and trading is scheduled to launch in July 2022.
