Infrascreen, a Neuchatel, Switzerland-based provider of nanotech solutions for energy-efficient climate control, secured $1.5m in seed funding.
Backers included Investbridge Capital and ACE & Company.
The company will use the funding to create full-scale pilot products for commercial greenhouses.
Led by Henri de Lalande, CEO, Infrascreen uses nanotechnologies to produce smart materials for greenhouses, helping to increase their energy efficiency, lower their carbon footprint, and grow higher quality produce.
The company has offices in Rochester, New York.
