Network Perception, a Chicago, IL-based provider of operational technology (OT) solutions, raised $13M in Series A funding.

The round, which brings Network Perception’s total funding to $15.73m, was led by The Westly Group with participation from Energy Impact Partners, and existing backers Serra Ventures, Okapi Venture Capital, Energy Foundry and SaaS Venture Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its commercial activities and address the OT network cybersecurity needs of critical industries, expand into new vertical and international markets, and establish strategic partnerships to further accelerate go-to-market growth.

Led by CEO Harry Giovani, Network Perception provides a technology platform and products that range in functionality from essential network auditing technology to continuous and proactive visualization of OT network vulnerabilities, with the intent of improving network security and heightened cyber resiliency for critical infrastructure companies.

In the coming weeks, the company will debut the NP-View Essential edition of its platform to provide instant visualization and network verification for compliance and security teams in both small and enterprise-sized entities.
