Showrunner, a Chicago, IL-based filmmaking technology startup, raised USD4m in funding.
The round was led by Lightbank, with Craft Ventures, Gaingels, Allen Gannett (author of The Creative Curve), and several other angel investors participating.
The company will use the funds to continue to develop its tech stack.
Led by Shane Snow, Showrunner is advancing film production technology software, which aims to help both industry giants and independent creators to produce film content efficiently.
